New Moon Blessings A Time to Begin

There is something so magical about the New Moon. She doesn't ask us to shine brightly or have all the answers. Instead, she invites us to slow down, breathe deeply and come home to ourselves.

Today's New Moon in Cancer brings gentle, nurturing energy, encouraging us to reconnect with our hearts, our intuition and the people and places that make us feel safe. It's a beautiful reminder that true growth doesn't always happen where others can see it. Just like a seed beneath the earth, something beautiful is quietly taking root within you.

If life has felt busy, overwhelming or a little out of balance lately, let this New Moon be your invitation to pause. Release the pressure to have everything figured out and simply ask yourself:

"How do I want to feel over this next moon cycle?"

Choose intentions that come from your heart rather than your mind. The Universe responds to the energy we carry just as much as the words we speak.

🌿 Wild Sage New Moon Ritual

Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed. Light a candle, make yourself a cup of herbal tea and take a few slow, calming breaths.

Place your hand on your heart and ask:

What am I ready to welcome into my life?

What no longer feels aligned?

How do I want to feel over the coming weeks?

Write three heartfelt intentions in your journal, as though they have already begun to unfold.

When you're finished, fold the paper and, if it's safe to do so, burn it in a fireproof bowl, allowing the smoke to carry your intentions to the Universe. Alternatively, bury your intentions beneath a tree or in your garden, offering them to Mother Earth to nurture alongside you.

Finish by saying:

"I trust the journey unfolding before me. I welcome new beginnings with an open heart, and I honour the wisdom that already lives within me."
